Parachute Hares Ear | Parachute Hare’s Ear
This fly is a combination of the famous Hares Ear Nymph and Parachute Adams fly. A hybrid so to speak! This combination creates a great bug that floats well on water and attracts a lot of attention from hungry and curious fish.
The classic parachute dry fly is extremely effective, particularly in slower to medium currents. Hare’s ear parachute dry flies ride low in the water to give a natural profile to trout. This pattern is quickly becoming a favorite amongst fly fishing guides and many other avid anglers.
Fish these dry flies during a hatch of mayflies and when trout are sipping duns from the surface.
